Delete Category

A Category is a group of items, put together to help customer understand and zoom into a specific type of food items. You will need to create a category, and a sub-category to assign and item to these for the items to be visible to the customer for ordering. 

If you are using the Menu Editor to delete the category, follow these steps:

1. Login to eCMS
   
   
2. Go to the 'Menu' Tab
   
   
   
3. For category which you wish to delete, click on the 3 dots below the category name and select 'Delete'
   
   
4. You will see this warning sign 
   
   NOTE: Once deleted, the category cannot be retrieved and needs to be created again. 
   
   
   
5. Click 'Delete' if you still wish to proceed to delete the category. Else click on 'Cancel' to go back to the previous screen.

If you are not using the Menu Editor to create a category, follow these steps:

1. On selected Category, click Delete button to delete category

2. Dialog form to confirm will be displayed
3. Click ‘Yes’ button to confirm delete or ‘No’ button to cancel delete
