To use the WisePad 3 card reader with Smart Pay Terminal, you need to pair the reader with your device through Smart Pay Terminal. After the reader and device are paired, the reader connects to the device automatically whenever both are turned on and in range.
Steps:
Press and release the power button to turn on the reader.
A pairing Notification will pop up on the top Click Pair or Go to the Device Settings and Bluetooth and Pair the device
In Smart Pay Terminal, tap ≡ > Terminal Settings.
Tap the Card reader.
On the Select Reader page, tap WisePad 3.
When the card reader appears beneath Available card readers, tap Connect beside it.
The first time you pair the WisePad 3 card reader to our Smart Pay Terminal device, the reader performs an automatic update. This should take 8 to 10 minutes.
