To manage item stock in eCMS, you can adjust the status at the item or SKU level. For combo items, additional considerations apply.
Item Level Stock Management
Log in to eCMS using your outlet/store credentials.
Navigate to Menu > Items.
In the search bar, enter a keyword for the item you want to adjust.
Once the item is displayed, locate the "Item Status" column.
- To Stock Out: Click the Stock In button to change the status to "Stock Out."
- To Stock In: Click the Stock Out button to change the status to "Stock In."
SKU Level Stock Management
It's recommended to manage stock at the SKU level to ensure accurate reflection on the customer-facing platform, as item-level changes might sometimes conflict with SKU-level statuses.
- Under the "SkU Status" column, check either the "In Stock" or "Stock Out" field to modify their status.
Combo Item Stock Management
If an item is a mandatory part of a combo item's customization and it's the only option in that combo selection, then the combo item's status should also be adjusted when the individual item is stocked out.
- To check if an item is part of a mandatory customization, click on the item name. For example, "CNY4 Chick'n Popcorn Bites."
- In the "SKU QUICK VIEW" window, you'll see the Customization group(s) the item is part of.
- In the Advance Search section, filter by the customization name in the Customisations field and click SEARCH.
- All combo items that include the item "CNY4 Chick'n Popcorn Bites" as part of their customization will be listed.
- Verify if each listed combo item has "CNY4 Chick'n Popcorn Bites" as a mandatory customization with only one selection (e.g., if "Soup" only has one option).
- If it's a mandatory customization with no other options, change the status of the relevant combo item(s) to "Stock Out" if the individual item is "Stock Out."
