How to setup itemized printing

Introduction

In the Printer Console, a new setting has been introduced called "Item Level Cut." When enabled, this setting allows you to control the printing behavior of items, combos, and customizations, ensuring separate receipts for specific scenarios.

Dishes Eligibility 

Once the "Item Level Cut" flag is enabled, the following rules apply:

Combos:

All combos are eligible for separate printing, meaning they will be printed on individual receipts.

Items:

All items are eligible for separate printing, each appearing on its own receipt.

Customizations:

Only customization options with the "Send as Item" enabled will be eligible for separate print. Customizations that don't have this option enabled will be printed with the main item or combo.

How to Enable the Setup in eCMS: 

To activate the "Item Level Cut" setting in eCMS, follow these steps:

1. Go to "Settings" in the Printer Console.
2. Navigate to "Console Features."
3. Look for "Item Level Cut" and enable the flag.
   
   

Points to Note: 

Here are some important points to consider regarding the "Item Level Cut" setting:

1. Special Requests for Items/Combos:
Special requests made at the item or combo level will be printed along with the main item or combo on the same receipt.

2. Multiple Quantity Printing:
When an item, combo, or customization has multiple quantities (e.g., 2X, 3X), they will be printed on the same receipt.

3. Same Customization in Different Items:
If the same customization appears in different items, they will be printed on a single receipt with the corresponding quantity (e.g., 2X, 3X).

4. Same Item in Different Combos:
If the same item is part of different combos, they will be printed on a single receipt with the corresponding quantity (e.g., 2X, 3X).
