Assign Item to Sub-category

A sub-category is a group of items, put together to help customer understand and zoom into a specific type of food items. You will need to create a category, then create a sub-category within the category to assign and item to these for the items to be visible to the customer for ordering.  

If you are using the Menu Editor to edit your menu, follow these steps:

1. Login to eCMS
   
   
2. Go to the 'Menu' Tab
   
   
   
3. Scroll to the sub-category to which you wish to assign items. Click on the 3 dots below the sub-category name and select the option 'Assign Items'
   
   
   
4. Search for OR Scroll down to find and select the item that should be assigned to the sub-category
   
   
5. Click on 'Preview' button to view the selected items and their sequence within the sub-category
   
   
6. Click on the 2 horizontal lines on the right of the item name to drag up or down to change the sequence in which the items appear within the sub-category
   
   
7. Click '<- Back' to go back and select/de-select item assignment OR click 'Close' to close the preview box
8. Finally, click 'Save' to save the assignment and sequence of items in the sub-category
