Delete an Item

A item is the food dish that is to be served to the customer to consume. You will need to create 1 item for each food dish in your menu for it to be available for your customer to order.

If you are using the Menu Editor to edit your menu, follow these steps:

Login to eCMS
Go to the 'Menu' Tab
You will see the Menu Editor with the items listed on the middle of the screen. Click on the 3 dots below the item name that you wish to delete. Then select the option 'Delete Item'
You will see this warning sign

NOTE: Once deleted, the item cannot be retrieved and needs to be created again.
Click 'Yes, Delete' if you still wish to proceed to delete the item. Else click on 'Cancel' to go back to the previous screen

If you are not using the Menu Editor to create an item, follow these steps:

On the navigation pane, select Menu > Item
On the Items tab, click Delete button to delete a selected item

Or you can use Delete button on the top grid list to delete an item
Dialog form will be displayed
Click Yes to confirm delete or No to cancel delete
