Auto Discount Configuration

In this guide, you will learn how to set up promotions with auto discounts for Tabsquare vouchers. The system allows merchants to create multiple auto discount promotions for different time periods within a day, but only one auto discount can be active for any given time period.  

Let's consider an example: Auto Discount 1 offers a 20% discount from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while Auto Discount 2 provides a $10 discount from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. These promotions can coexist because their time periods do not overlap. However, if the merchant attempts to create another auto discount promotion for the same time period as Auto Discount 1, the system will prevent it to avoid conflicting discounts.

We will consider the time and store settings without considering specific customer segments or order types.

Auto Discount (Voucher Redemption Method):

1. Ensure you are logged in as a Brand User Level.

2. On the navigation pane, click Menu > Promotion Discount to access the Promotion Discount pages.

3. Click the "Add Promotion Discount" button to create an 'Auto Discount' voucher promotion.

4. Follow the steps in 'Create Promotion' to fill in the required fields.
   
   
   

   
   
   
   

5. In the Voucher Redemption Method field, select the 'Automatic' radio button to enable the auto voucher discount (1).

6. Ensure the Partner is set to 'TABSQUARE' (2), and the Voucher Type is 'Default (Tabsquare)' (3).

7. Enter the voucher name in the Voucher Name field.

8. Provide a code for the auto voucher discount in the Voucher Code field.
   

9. Under the Discount Type section, select 'Percentage Discount' from the Discount Type field.
   

   
   
10. Enter the desired percentage for the auto discount in the Percentage Discount field.
    
    
11. Click Save to create the Promotion Discount with auto discount features.
    Upon successful setup, you will see the Auto Voucher discount listed in the Promotion Discount data as follows:

    When using the auto discount voucher redemption, the selected voucher will be automatically applied to your cart order. The cart order pages will display the auto discount voucher applied as follows:
    
    
    12. Click the "Confirm Order" button, and a summary of your order with the auto discount voucher will be displayed.
