Objective
The objective is to implement the points and voucher mechanisms supported by Redcat CRM for ordering in SmartWeb and on the POS for redemption.
Configuration (ECMS)
Redcat Set-up at Admin Level To set up Redcat in the admin level, access ecms.tabsquare.com. For testing purposes, you can use stag-ecms.tabsquare.com and log in with admin@tabsquare.com | demo. Then, navigate to CRM - Settings Campaign - Add Config Campaign.
Enter the CRM Program name (it can be any name you choose), select the store(s), and proceed by clicking "Next."
To configure Redcat settings, the Admin must input valid data into each Redcat field.
Please note that the Redcat configurations have been provided by the Redcat team.
For testing purposes, you can utilize the following data.
Payment Mapping At the brand level, you need to configure payment mapping (Tier > Setting Tier > click the setting icon on one of the lists > Payment Mapping) for Redcat with the following data.
POINTS:
VOUCHERS:
Stripe should also be configured for Redcat payment, and since Redcat is only available for POS, terminal ID K1 needs to be configured based on the screenshot above.
Redcat Set-up at Store Level
System Settings: At the store level, configure the system settings because Redcat is only available for POS. For testing purposes, you can use the following settings.
Redcat in SmartWeb ECMS
Customers can log in as a member using either their phone number or email on a merchant's platform that has been previously configured for Redcat at the admin level.
If the member's credentials are valid, they will be directed to the Ascentis password page.
The "LOGIN" option becomes active when customers enter their password, and if the password is valid, they will be directed to the SmartWeb order page.
Customers also have the option to select "SKIP," which will take them directly to the SmartWeb order page without signing in as a member.
Upon successful login, customers will be directed to the Order Type selection and the SmartWeb homepage.
Customers can view their total points in the rewards panel.
If customers click on "My Rewards," they will be taken to the voucher page. To use their voucher, they need to input an eligible item first.
On the Cart page, customers can use their points if they have input an eligible item; otherwise, the points toggle will not appear.
On the Order Summary page, customers won't see their earned points, but these points will be added to the points panel information on the order page once they click on "continue browsing."
Creating Coupons from Redcat Portal
Navigate to the Redcat portal at Polygon Central.
Go to Loyalty and Ordering > Coupons
Click on Add CouponSelect Ordering
Select coupon type
Select coupon eligibility
Input Name, Description and Active In: Ordering, other field are optional
Input discount amount and select usage type
Input start date and end date, other fields are optional
If creating an item level coupon, PLUS field is required, other fields are optional
Displaying Enabled Coupons for Ordering Notes for coupons that appear on SmartWeb are based on the following:
Retrieve all coupons that are enabled for ordering from Redcat.
Exclude expired and redeemed coupons from the list.
Display the remaining enabled coupons in both SmartWeb and SmartKiosks.
Expired and redeemed coupons should not be displayed.
Only PLU lists are supported; PLU category and PLU class lists are not supported as they do not come from menu sync.
When configuring multiple items in the PLU list for a discount in the Redcat portal, the system will only consider the item with the lowest price for the discount.
